As Jesus Christ, in the night
in which he was betrayed,
was completely mindful of our welfare,
and how to restore it for us.
Therefore he took the bread,
Break it with his fingers,
Looked up to Heavens, thanking God
And said to his disciples:
Take this and eat, this is my body
which is shed for thine
And remember that I will stay
In death, and in life.
